Lesley and Bill were a beautiful couple, they celebrated their wedding reception at the Proud Bird Banquet Hall in Los Angeles in front of 216 guest. The wedding colors were: Ivory, Sage and Emerald Green.

Grand Opening at the LA Harbor Lodge

On March 28, 2011, Ron and Annouka Spears the owners of 'West Coast Catering', hosted an Grand Opening/Food Tasting at the LA Harbor Lodge in San Pedro, CA. There were a lot of great vendors. There were a live band: The Elements, a delicious Chocolate Fountain by Brett Gross from Chocolate Delight and Event Planning by The KL Experience.

Teen Party Expo 2011

My company

SBD Events were invited to participate in this year 'Teen Party Expo 2011" at the LA Convention Center. I had a feeling that this event would be catered toward girl parties, so I wanted to decorate my booth in Pink and Fuchsia: my game plan were to create a mock sweetheart and Cake Area display. We installed a Pink Lighted Bckdrop and Fantasy Table Skirts(R)-patented, along with our Crystal Cake Stand, (2)-4' Crystal Trees on Tall Rose Fabric Stands, lots of Candles and Rose Petals. Marriage.Com Mixer - Feb. 23, 2011

I attended the Marriage.Com Mixer last night (February 23rd) at the beautiful Tiato Cafe in Santa Monica, It is an awesome location to have a special event, your event can take place inside and out, they had lots of heat lamps to keep you warm. The staff was very nice.

We drank Strawberry Sparkling Wine by Fresita, sampled wine and ate lots of great tray pass appetizers, enjoyed some good cake compliments of Hansen's Cakes. I met a lot of great vendor's and brides.

New Event Location in San Pedro CA

There’s a new event location that I would like to tell you about, it is a Lodge located in San Pedro CA. This location sits up high and has a beautiful semi ocean view; the room is very large and has a large stage for your band/DJ or head table. One of the side double doors opens out to the patio that overlooks the plush green scenery and Ocean. The executive chef is Ron Spears from West Coast Catering, SBD Events will be the Event Designer and there are other talented Event Professionals included.
We are having an Open House on March 27, 2011… At the Open House 'West Coast Catering will be preparing food for the food tasting and displaying several table setups with full table settings, SBD Events will decorate the venue-decor to be determined) Music will be played by DJ Kerry Smith and more.

Associate Bridal Consultant Luncheon 2011

The ABC Luncheon was awesome at Lawry's Prime Rib in Beverly Hills. I had a great time, met some very exciting people. Our company was given the opportunity to showecase some of our most fanciful items for special events. We showcased a glamorous 10' x 21' all Ivory Backdrop with Blue Uplights and two Fantasy Table Skirts(R), 2 beautiful Crystal Trees on stands covered in elegant fabric and much more.

Bridal Shower at The Alcove Cafe - Los Angeles

We decorated a beautiful Bridal Shower at a quaint house behind the Alcove Cafe in Los Angeles Area. We decorated with Chocolate and Apple Green Balloons, Flowers, Candle and lots of Rose Petals. We also provided Party Favors for 25 guest.

SBD Events was AMAZING!I recently got Married and Demitria provided the draping, lighting, fantasy table cloths,cake stand and other hints of decor for our event.Demtria surpassed my expectation she executed the transformation in a professional and timely manner. Although I used multiple vendors the room was very cohesive and Demtria and the other vendors worked as a team to pull together the total look. Although I was involved in the planning of our special day SBD Events helped my mom to pull off many surprises. I walked into the Shatto Ballroom and I felt as though I was in a palace. You truly brought our vision to life, our wedding was more then a platinum wedding ,I prefer to call it it a royal affair.Thank you for making my day as beautiful in reality as it was in my mind. Moving on up

I added a cargo van to my business, so now we can transport our chair covers and balloons with ease. I would like to add one more cargo van in the near future. I am also looking at employing at least 3 more people in order to meet the demand of our business.

Business is growing

My business is growing. Our services are in such demand, that there is no such thing as a peak season, because every week/month is busy for us. Most of our clients comes to us via word of mouth. However, I don't know what to do when I get a weekend off , it feels so strange cause we're always busy working.

Choosing Colors For Your Event

Wow! It's amazing how clients come up with unique colors for their event. Imagine Orange, Brown and Aqua together. Sometimes the colors really work well together. I would like to know other unique colors that people have choosen.

What is a FAN

A fan is a loyal client, who will not let anyone else decorate, coordinate or plan their event. A fan will change the date of their event if you're not available on their selected date. A fan will tell you to do it your way, cause they trust and value what you say. It is important to provide quality work so that you can build a fan base of loyal clients.

Everyone Is Using Pink

Why is it that every other event is Pink, don't get me wrong, I love the color pink and it is very pretty. However I noticed that pink became more popular after Trista and Ryan's wedding ("The Bachelor" TV Show).
